I have a pair of motorola radios (t5500) and was just wondering if anyone could tell me why when I tap the ptt (push-to-talk) button all the symbols on the screen light up and the numbers 218188 come up. and if I hold the button then let go, ivox turns on. I have never owned motorola radios before and am completely befuddled.

this problem is making it impossible to communicate because the ptt button is turning on ivox and not letting me talk, making the radio useless, and I am getting no support from motorola.

sorry about posting this odd question, but I have gotten so much help before that I was sure you guys could fix this problem.
