Hello and welcome to the TSF, it could be that you need to update the bios to support your quad cpu. You may need to manually set the timings and voltages for your memory in the bios. And, you seem to be a bit underpowered in my opinion....see the psu selection artical linked below and use the psu calculator to determine the minimum psu required, add 30% to the result for a proper psu reccomendation. Did you re apply the thermal paste (after cleaning off the old) 42C (110F) is a bit high for a cpu at idle but it is a quad core. However at 110F you are not in jepordy of overtemping. If your at 110C, then yes, you are way over temp.
