Question regarding Voltage and Heat readings
Ok so as per recommended I installed an Antec Truepower Trio 650w last week and immediately had improved results. However I had a few questions regarding some readings I'm getting via speedfan.
I get three Voltage readings, my core voltage, my +12v rail voltage and my 3.3v rail voltage. My +12v rail stays at 12.25 and my 3.3v rail stays at 3.30. My question is this, should speedfan be reading any other voltages? And are these readings normal/stable?
Also, I have three thermal readings. One is system, currently reading 33c.
CPU reading 42c (running a Pentium D 2.66ghz OC to 3.00, I'm told but not confirmed Pentium D's have some issue where they only have one thermal reading as opposed to the newer cores that read 2 respectively.) And the one that really has me confused, an AUX reading that reads -48c O.o
I also noticed that I have 4 speed settings just below the fan rpms and thermal readings. The third speed setting was defaulted at 35%. If I bump it up even one click the AUX thermal reading shoots through the roof to upwards of 150c. I'm really confused by this and hoping there are some answers out there.
One other thing. After running with my new power supply and normal nightly shutdowns I ran into an issue today. Upon hitting my case power button my fans lit up and spun, and immediately shut off. It happened again 2 or 3 more times until it finally stayed on and booted to windows. After a few seconds of loading my start up programs it shut down. I've managed to get it booted and running and tested out a few programs and it hasn't shut down yet. However I am somewhat concerned about this.
