it has the lil green light on top...it is on when i turn it on. It's make a sound when i turn it on but not what i think it's supposed to make. nothing comes up on my computer when i turn it on...the lil thing that lets you no it's hooking in to the desk top....

Seagate, i have the serial # 5LR163ZZ, part # 9W286D-560, those are the only identfing info i see on it. there is something that says...ITE E106814, then in another area it has ST300003U2. that's all the info I could find on it. Nothing that says model #
