Hi. Welcome to TSF.
Uninstall the onboard audio drivers and software in Control Panel > Add or remove programs.
Reboot and enter BIOS.
Under Advanced > Onboard devices configuration - Disable the Azalia controller.
Save and exit BIOS.
Then install your new sound card.
