Now I'm about to start the process all over again with SWMBOs desktop which has all the same problems from the same (infected SD card source). Can I repeat everything above or do I start a new bespoke thread?
Finally, How do you or I know if I'm clean now?
The only strange thing I'm noticing is odd icons in the favourites list for any site I use with a password entry (eg bank), hence I'm still a bit concerned.
