For starters, don't waste your time copying the Page File. It's just a swap file (virtual ram), backing it up is entirely worthless, actually it might even cause problems if you try to restore it.

When you backup your C: Drive, are you able to select/deselect which files you want and don't want, if so, then unselect pagefile.sys.
