Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me. I purchased an external hard drive so I can have a backup copy of my C drive. When I copy/paste the C drive it starts coping, but then and error message comes up telling me that the pagefile.sys is being used and it cannot continue. When I found where the pagefile.sys was, I went to turn it off and it said that I shouldn't because if the pagefile is less than 510 megabytes, then the system may not be able to create a debugging information file if a STOP error occurs.

Could someone please advise me on what I should do. I have Windows XP.
