Tech Support Forum - View Single Post - Computer wouldn't boot so I switched the HDD

First my pc would hang at the winxp bootscreen and restart, so I thought to myself, why not switch the hdd? Now I did but I don't know what to do to set it up, at first I thought it would be a simple as just unplugging the old one and plugging the one from a different pc,, but apperently it isn't and it seem you have to do stuff with the BIOS but I'm just a 14 year old amateur and have no idea what to do when it comes to things like this.
