My first thought of the beeping is that it is a temperature alarm. Is there any way you can check the temps? It may be hard to use a program but if you have an infrared thermometer then that is always a good idea.

I would do a fresh application of thermal paste on the heatsink/heat pipe assembly. Also make sure the fan is spinning properly.

Can you boot into Safe Mode in Windows?
