Hi,

Am I correct in stating that you are using an adapter cable to go from VGA to component video?

It might be a format issue. For example, in the US the default format is NTSC. Your laptop is outputting in VGA though. Sometimes you need to have a TV with a VGA input to use it as a monitor.

Can you try on an external computer monitor to see if its a problem with the laptop or the TV?
