ok, we just put a new hd in our dell inspiron 1100. I couldn't find the disc that came with it, so we used the disk that came with the Dell desktop.

It was going well......

UNTIL.....

the windows screen was really small, and i was trying to fix that and it told me to reboot the computer and i did and now, it's on and running, but I think i told the computer to ignore the display and now after the dell and windows start up screens,

it goes blank, not off, cause we can hear the hard drive and the hd light is on. It's just blank....

any suggestions????
