Sorry - I should have elaborated. The 8400gs isn't a replacement for the 7800gtx. It's a spare incase the 7800 dies. I haven't another card so i bought the 8400 as a cheap spare (only cost £30). I was thinking to overclock it so i could still play some of my games with a tolerable frame rate should the 7800 die.
