Hmmmm, that time the loading bar DID load up, and windows loaded, but still no display :(

[EDIT] Windows is definately working in the background, and the drivers are working (in a way) because I just managed to load up HW2 from the Start Menu using my keyboard (start button + arrow keys) And it loaded fine: I could hear the music. I am going to try connecting a different monitor, I don't think that is the problem, but it is worth a shot ^_^

[EDIT2] It works on my old Compaq 17" VGA CRT monitor using a DVI-VGA dongle. I will try it on the new monitor again later, to see whether it was a case of 'reseting the monitor' lol. If it still doesnt work with the new monitor, then it's going back to the store. Stupid tempramental monitors. Erm, one thing worth mentiontioning is that the first time I booted after changing the monitors, I got the afforementioned faded loading screen with no progress on the bar. The second time it worked fine. I will let everyone know how the new monitor goes when I plug it back in. Has anyone ever heard of something like this, where monitors sometimes work, and sometimes don't, for no apparent reason? Re-seating monitors?

Anyway, I'm gonna go play NEXUS to unwind. Hopefully I won't get the problem again.
