Hi guys,
hoping someone can help me with my issue, i have an intel 3.0ghz dual core processor which isn't running well, one of the cores is running nearly at maximum while the other core is running normally. When checking the performance in the task manager cpu is running at around 50% even tho no applications are running and system is pretty much in an idle state. With the 1 core running at maximum it is causing issues playing video footage causing the sound to stutter. I have restarted and cold booted the system many times, even leaving it not running for a while then switching it on. The system is booting very slowly also and some things are taking longer to process, not sure if the core is damaged or if something else is causing the problem. If you have an ideas on what it could be and suggestions on what i should do it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
