Hi,
I tried your suggestion in renewing ipconfig. I have also tried going into ipconfig, typing
ipconfig/ALL>C:|RESULT.TXT, and copy and pasting OPEN C| RESULT from notepad.

I addedd the yes to DHCP enabled 'yes' and I added the global DNS servers. I am learning a lot but so far I cannot get the browser. One thing I don't know, how do you 'ping' and address? I have not tried that part of the suggestion. Thanks so much for taking the time to help me with this!
