Did you remove the plastic tab from the toner cartridge?
It would not be the first time I have been called to a faulty printer to find the cartridge had not been correctly installed.

You say in your post that you refilled the toner. Did you replace the whole cartridge or pour toner into the machine?
Every machine has different toner have you checked that it is the correct type?

Also some cartridges have a chip embedded that tells the machine that it has been replaced it is possible that this has failed either in the cartridge or within the machine.

I have not worked on this model of printer (I work on Ricoh, Sharp, Oce and HP) but hope you find a solution.
