Hi there,
thanks for your explanation. I followed all the steps you've indicated but unsuccessfully.
I made the horrible mistake of installing the drivers supplied with the Keystation 49e. Result is I've never been able to use it on this machine.
I've tried uninstalling the drivers from the uninstall program as well as manually clean up the registry entries i could find for M-audio, but still no luck.

Have you got any further suggestions? Seriously is driving me insane. I've tried on another machine, and it worked fine, so the keystation is actually working properly.
