Distributed computing is a great way to have some fun, along with working for the benefit of mankind. It is possible your computer could be the one to find a cure for cancer, develop a drug for AIDS, or more. While the clients running are designed to run in the background and have a minimal impact on the system running it, it still uses some computer power, along with network traffic. Therefore we must ask you do not install any clients on other peoples computers without their knowledge and permission. It is actually illegal to install it without their knowledge. An example of this is
David McOwen.
We therefore ask you follow these guidelines:
- Respect the terms of the software EULA
- You are the owner of the system, or you have obtained permission to install the client from the owner of the PC
