Well I would guess so as it works in XP, would be strange to have a motherboard that supports SATA2 but not ATA/133.

EDIT: Actually, after booting up XP it's neither so is ATA/100 normal in vista for a SATA2 HD? Doesnt seem right as the last time I used a ATA/100 drive was about 5 years ago.
