Angry "blue screen of death" win32k.sys

I bought a brand new laptop in January, a HP6000 series. I noticed a few days after I got it, that I got the blue screen of death(BSD), I was using files from external hard drive which I had previously used on my old laptop, which this problem never occured. I didnt think anything of it, and just restarted the computer. I am currently in the Marines and deployed, so I have no tech support. In the last week, every time I play MP3 files I get BSD, I am able to play video from the c: and f: drives, and do every other action without a problem. I scanned for viruses and spyware, and took care of those using StopSign Anti-Virus. Now I still am getting the BSD from MP3 files, within 10 minutes of play, and win32k.sys shows up in the message. I'm not very computer literate with programming, what is this file, and what steps can I take to correct it without reformating the hard drives?
