USB device driver problem
Well my old hard drive (the one im currently on) is startin to crash on me so i went out and bought a new one.
So far everything went smooth on it except it doesn't find my USB device driver. I attempt to find out what the driver is by going into this HD's device manager but i noticed everything is the same (except MAC bridge miniport adapter along with the instant wireless usb adapter network thing).
Right now I'm just frustrated. I thought USB was just like PnP?! Plug it in.. it goes.
I'm using the 3com 3C920B-EMB Integrated PCI ethernet Controller part of my Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard opposed to the part near the bottom which is the nVidia nForce MCP part.
Questions:
1) Why don't I have a MAC bridge miniport on the new HD?
2) Shouldn't it just find the driver automatically plugging in my usb ethernet adapter?
3) Any file I'm able to just copy and paste and it will work on new HD?
Thanks again.. i'm really at a standstill at what's going on.. im free to work anyone through the process of troubleshooting!
