Re: My Seagate 250 GB SATA Problem
Go to Start > (Settings) > Control Panel > Administrative tools > Computer Management > Device manager > IDE/ATAPI controllers > SATA Controller > Right click > Properties > Advanced settings tab
Make sure the device is set to use either UDMA, or SATA or SATA2 speed. It cannot be set to PIO since that will make the drive slow.
