I was thinking of putting my CPU to 2.4ghz and also changing it to 1.4v. Will this work well or do I need to change something else?
Also my CPU runs very cool, at the moment even when playing games it doesnt get much over 40 degress. I have One intake fan and Two Exhaust Fans.
Thanks

My experience with AMDs taught me to take it one tick at a time. You should have enough video card to get that system up really up. Regardles how you do it always monitor your temps. 40C is idle 68-70C is safe... so they say. Use a program that loads the system and check temps after each change. My AMDs always seemed to come up on temperature very slowly until they approached their limit and then whacko 98C right now. So take a step at a time and try to forget the 2.4Ghz and 1.7v numbers. Watch your temps first and always. defrag and create a restore point now and often between tweaks. .............believe...........
