Toshiba laptop restore disk and a new HD

My Toshiba Satellite M35-s320 experienced a hard drive failure. I installed a new Seagate-100 MB, 7200 rpm replacement. Now my Toshiba cd-restore disk is not recognized and will not install. The original drive must have had a Toshiba ID because I have restored it from the same disk previously.

The Toshiba website is not helpful and Tshobia charges $30.00/hr for out-of-warrenty tech support. What can I do to work around this problem?

Thanks
