Hello all,
I am running a newly built computer and sometimes when I boot up, the HD randomly doesn't seem to get detected (it doesn't show up on startup as a connected peripheral and I get a disk boot error and am prompted to connect a boot disk and press enter). This happens every once and a while and I usually have to turn the computer off and try again. Eventually it works, though...and then works seamlessly throughout my session.

My question is: What sort of things may be the cause of this problem? I thought it might have been the SATA cable I was using, so i switched it out to a shorter newer one...but the problem still exists. Any suggestions or insight would be great. Thanks all!
