Re: Going abroad with new laptop. Will I need a current converter?

Hi,

Check the specification for the laptop power supply.

Should be printed on it.

It may well state 120 v ac to 240 v ac in chich case it will be fine when you get to the UK.

At worst you may need to buy a mains power supply unit for your laptop compatible with the UK mains voltage 230v AC

Most laptop PSU are auto ranging from 110 v to 140 v ac
