Security Policy issue WIN2000
I'm running a classroom lab of 24 machines connected to a server running Win2000. Each student logs on with their own username and password, and all student files are saved on the server. The individual machines are all running XP. A couple of years ago, I stumbled across a policy which allowed me to "block" the students from even seeing the hard drive, or from making changes to things like the screensaver, background etc. If they tried to access the settings, everything was grayed out so that it was unavailable. The hard drive didn't even appear in the "My Computer" list; only to the administrator. I was also able to set a specific background that loaded with each user. It was great, because kids couldn't install anything or change anything. Evidently the policy expired, and now I can't find it. I've searched everywhere, and can't find the policy to reset it. Can anyone help?
