Using an account with Administrator privileges, see if you can go into Safe Mode doing the following:

Go to Start > Run, and type: msconfig
In the System Configuration Utility, click on the BOOT.INI tab
In the Boot Options area, only check: /SAFEBOOT
Click: OK
Reboot

When done with Safe Mode, repeat the msconfig process and uncheck /SAFEBOOT
Click: OK
Reboot to Windows normally.
