Re: XP shut down/power down issues..

Well, I guess the problem is fixed now. I downloaded a bunch of uniblue software and uninstalled some crap. It seems that after nero was acting up with this "unable to open plugin manager" issue, uninstalling then reinstalling it did the trick. Everything works great now. However, the first actual successful shutdown was after my girlfriend pushed the power button on my computer when we were getting ready to leave. She said, "Should I use the start menu or what? I know that you are picky about this shutdown thing." I said, "Just push the big blue button. Maybe by some divine power invested in you, it will be fixed." Well, what do you know. My girlfriend has magical tech powers. She's amazing....but I already knew that :)

Well, thanks for reading my post. All done now!
