Ok Ignore is a good advice, lets see what happens.

boot time: I was given this advice and pondering myself about it. But so far could not take the decision, because building my "complex" isntallation with many useful programs, their interaction and the pertinent settings plus the settings for XP and office themselves, will take many days and probably not pe fully reproducable. So I rather loose some minutes every day and save a lot more minutes by clean install plus the subsequent re-installion of all my other prog.
I hate to push your sugestion this way, but hope that maybe you have some other good thoughts.
