If the other two members suggestions do not help, yes, depending on the quality of the psu, an overstressed psu will take varing times before it statrts to fail. A bad psu can cause almost anything to act goofy, that the problems occured after your upgrade to a rather powerful gpu from a relatively weak one is a good indication, especially since both psu's are poor generic ones
