thanks for the help, can the sysmptoms I described be linked to anything else? perhaps the cpu or mobo?

also on my first computer I had used this graphic card with no problem for over a year! can these PSU problem occur at any time?
Also on the second computer as I said it kept refreshing and giving error/recovery message of videocard and it was on of these occasions that the computer froze and the problem occured.

here are the specs of the 2 PSU:

1st comp:
FPS450-60MDV - AC:230-240V DC:350W

2nd comp:
ATX-450W
