Now this is with my new Seagate 7200 RPM drive as opposed to my old Hitachi 4200 RPM drive.

32 MB read:

Sequential read = 45 MB/s
Burst Speed = 91.0 MB/s
Random Access = 14.7 ms
CPU Utilization = 4%
Average Read = 36.7 MB/s
